What to consider about rash guards:
If you haven't worn one before, you're probably going to like it. They protect your skin whether training gi or no-gi. Mat burns suck! I just wish they had rash guards for my toes. The inside of my gi doesn't do me much good either. And gi or no-gi, they're much better than a T-shirt because they're form fitting, so they don't flop around, and most of the sweat evaporates, keeping you a little cooler and dryer. I like them with long sleeves to cover my elbows, but the style you get is largely preference.
